What to look for in a Kilyos restaurant
Most of what lines the Kilyos shore is built around fish and meze; beach operators appear in summer and a good number of them close for the winter. Which means anyone arriving in the area meets a list that changes with the season, and sometimes isn't open at all.
Three questions make the choice easier: is it open year-round, does it run its own kitchen, and can the seating flex with the weather. Places with both indoor and outdoor space are far more comfortable through spring and autumn.
Casa Kilyos answers all three. The kitchen is ours, a good part of the vegetables come from our own farm, and when the weather turns you move from the garden indoors.
